Why does this exist?

Government job postings — especially from small towns — are scattered across hundreds of individual municipal websites. Most never appear on Indeed, LinkedIn, or Handshake. We scrape them all into one searchable place so you don't have to check each town's site individually.

How to use it

Search by keyword, or use the dropdown filters to narrow by state, job type, or experience level. Click "View" to see the full listing on the employer's own website. Star jobs you're interested in (up to 20) and export them as a CSV to keep track of your applications.

FAQ

I'm in high school — can I find a job here?

Yes. Click the Summer jobs quick-pick or set the Job Category filter to Seasonal. Many towns hire teens for camps, lifeguarding, parks & rec, swim instruction, and youth programs. Some have a minimum age (usually 15 or 16) noted in the posting.

I'm a college student looking for an internship.

Set the Job Category filter to Internship, or click the Internships quick-pick. Public-sector internships sit in town planning offices, finance departments, public works, library systems, state agencies, and legislative offices. Many are paid; some offer academic credit.

I don't have a college degree.

Click the No degree required quick-pick. There are real, full-benefits public-sector careers in public works, transfer stations, custodial, school facilities, transit, water/sewer, and clerical that don't require a bachelor's. Many municipalities also pay for licenses or training (CDL, water operator, etc.).

Are these listings real and current?

Yes — every listing here was scraped from an official town, city, or state government website. We refresh weekly. Click "View" on any job to land on the employer's own page. If something looks off (closed posting, broken link), email us.

How do I actually apply?

You apply directly with the employer. Click "View" to open the official posting on the town's or agency's own site — that's where the application form, instructions, and contact info live. We don't handle applications, collect resumes, or sit between you and the employer.

What does "Entry-Level" mean?

It's a job that's open to people without prior years of experience in that field — first-time workers, recent grads, career-changers. The posting may still expect a degree or specific license; check the job page for details.

Do I need an account? Do you collect my data?

No account, no login, no cookies, no personal data. The site is public. We log anonymous click counts on outgoing links so we can tell towns and career centers how many people are looking at their postings — that's it.

Does this cost anything?

Free for you, always. If you find it useful, you're welcome to throw a few dollars in the tip jar. We don't run ads.

How often is it updated?

Listings are refreshed weekly (Sunday mornings) from official government websites. Jobs marked "New" appeared in the most recent update.

Who runs this?

An independent project, not affiliated with any government agency. Built & maintained out of Connecticut.
